Weight Loss Easy Diet …Tricking Your Metabolism to Lose Weight. Not a “fast” diet. This one really works. No pills. Eat normal food.
There is a unique approach to losing weight which is said to work well. And, thankfully, there is some scientific reasoning supporting this novel but not too difficult approach.
This method is not so severe that it is impossible for the ordinary person to actually do it. It is a simple regimen which will produce good results. See below for comments on fast weight loss and its possible success.
This method involves tricking your metabolism. Just what is your metabolism? We’ll get to that in a moment. Just what is the basic idea behind this regimen and why will it cause weight loss? Well, it may be summed up in the phrase “Calories Do Count.” Calorie control is probably the only real way to lose weight.
Most people are aware that if we reduce the calories we take in, our bodies will see this as the beginning of a bout of starvation.
The human body cannot be reasoned with, unfortunately. Our body goes by ancient cues that are part of our very nature. Thus, merely reducing calories actually prevents us from losing weight. Why? Because the body shuts down when it believes it is about to starve. It uses as few calories as possible as the first line of defense in saving our lives. No one’s body understands about weight loss. Your body is intent on survival ” after all, that all the poor thing has, isnt it?
Our bodies were trained over millions of years to be instantly aware of lack of food. After all, in ancient days food did not move from place to place very easily, and the result often was famine. A local crop failure could cause a local famine quite easily ” especially in ancient time.
Over millions of years when famine hit repeatedly, the human body learned it was necessary to immediately use fewer calories. To do that the body slowed the metabolic rate way down. (The metabolic rate is the rate at which the body uses fuel to keep basic vital functions going. See, we told you wed tell you.)
So, how can you do two things which are diametrically opposed to each other ” and, at the same time? We need to cut our calories at the same time that we need our metabolism to stay at a reasonably high level. But, if we cut our calories our metabolism slows down. However, if we can cut calories and keep our metabolism up to normal (or, close to it) the result must be weight loss.
Therefore, to obtain weight loss, you must play a trick on your body. You have to encourage your body to believe that you are NOT cutting back on the number of calories eaten, when that is just exactly what you are doing.
You can do this trick with what is termed cycling calories. And, what does cycling calories mean, exactly?
It is very simple. You eat only slightly MORE calories than than your body needs on some days. Then, on other days you eat FEWER calories than what you need.
By doing this PROPERLY you will, over time, eat fewer calories than your metabolism requires. The result is a caloric deficit. This deficit is what gives you weight loss.
By doing this you have put your metabolism in a “guessing mode”. While in this mode your metabolism never really slows down to adapt to days when you restrict the calories you eat.
It goes like this: Your metabolism keeps chugging along like it usually does and on the days when calories are fewer it looks at this phenomenon and says, Well, if its gonna be that bad tomorrow Ill go into Starvation Mode.However, the next day calories are up and the Metabolism says, Hey, calories are up to snuff so I do not need to slow down.
Over time, if your total caloric intake is actually lessened, you must lose weight. However, dear reader, there is another thing you need to understand clearly.
We must realize is that this is NOT a 3, 5 or 21 day diet. Those kind of diets are useful for eliminating water from your body, but that is about it. When you start drinking water after quick dieting, the weight comes back, doesnt it? Of course, because you havent taken out any fat. (Or, very little.)
When you trick your metabolism, it works. But, it must work slowly because you can only burn off fat slowly. By sticking to the metabolism diet you will eliminate fat steadily and you will gain weight loss.
