This is also the most frequently used stopwatch for exercising and training programs.

Most running watches are worn on the wrist, and as such, are ideal for athletes who prefer to do some private training or exercise on their own. Most designs nowadays have calculation programs on it that allows a coach or runner to evaluate the average speed and time by entering a given distance.

There are also cycling stopwatches that allow athletes who participate in cycling events to time in their average speed in any distance. This type of stopwatch is basically used by serious cyclists and coaches who want to record in memory a series of split time segments.

Another type of stopwatch isn’t for people and is called the equestrian stopwatch and just as the name says it is used for horse racing. They have a large display to make reading easier during exercises or practice. This stopwatch makes it easier for the rider of the horse.
