Smart lipo is a relatively newer technology. This process is a type of liposuction in which the extra body fat is removed from your body through laser beams. The surgeon can also sculpt that body part while doing this operation because the treated area is small. The skin does not sag after this surgery. Generally, smart lipo is an outpatient process so you need not get admitted to the nursing home. If the area to be operated is bigger, then doctors usually go with normal liposuction techniques instead of laser lipo.

Always choose a surgeon having good amount of experience and skill in this procedure. Since the results of liposuction depend on the skill of the surgeon, only medical knowledge is not enough. Usually, the liposuction expenses are not covered under health insurance. Therefore it is important to make sure that you are going to a surgeon who has the qualification and experience of doing similar laser lipo surgeries.
