How Heart-Healthy Oils CAUSE Heart Disease!
The public has been misinformed to believe that vegetable oils are more beneficial that natural, saturated fats. Nothing could be further from the truth. The process of pressing vegetable oils has nothing to do with nature. Your oils are most likely oxidized, rancid, and wreaking havoc on your cardiovascular system. through research I’ve found that the only diet that actually reverses heart disease is a high nutrient packed vegan diet. Thank you so much for your information. I use those oils for hair and skin also.
krill oil is good too
Well, everything cool in this video, except the fact that you really can’t cook in extra virgin olive oil, it has a very low smoking point, this is valid for all unrefined oils also. Keep up the good work
ALL canola oils in north america are GENETICALLY MODIFIED. Stay away from these!!!!!!!!
What about pressed flaxseed oil. Would that be healthy?
health food stores sometimes or order online. you can also use premium coconut milk, it contains a decent ammount of coconut oil inside and it gives baked goods and sauces a nice hint of flavour :3 but again read the labels, it’s hard to find un-adulterated coconut milk… but then again same goes for most food in the market.
where can i get coconut oil from?
y really y not just go with the olive or coco oil?
thanks so much for the info!!!!!!!!!!!!
is there such a thing as cold compressed polyunsaturated fat oils? can vegetable oil be okay if it’s cold compressed like that olive oil? does cold compressed vegetable oil like that exist?
okk but u mean u have to eat organic chicken skin and meat not the non-organic faty version. i think veggie is the way to go!!!
palm oil is bad. causes inflammation
only if its even
afaik olive oils smoke point is at around 180 degrees celcius
btw thats a joke, no one tell me how hot it really gets and if that would burn the food or not
ya but if one were to cook at the temperature that saturated fat goes bad the food would taste like ashes xD
It doesn’t matter what kind of fat it is, if it reaches it’s smoke point it’s very bad.
Saturated fat have higher smoke points therefor are better suited for cooking
it has some omega6 also.
monounsaturated fats are very good for you. that is why olive oil is healthy.
He said heating polyunsaturated fats is bad. olive oil is monounsaturated. olive oil is good to cook with.
iAGREE 100 PERCENT, VEGE OIL cause the following of health problems:heart faliure, high blood pressure, heart disease, cardiovascular problems, stroke or untimely death.Oils that support the heart are the following: fish oil,cod liver oil,and flax seed oil. The best oil to cook with is not oilve oil, canola oil, or vegetable oil. The best oil is organic coconut oil which has many health benefits for the heart and skin!!
I don’t necessarily think we need a 1:1 ratio of omega-3s to omega-6s, but anything less than 1:8 would be good. If you look at the healthiest people in the world, only a few of them eat a 1:1 ratio on a daily basis (the Inuits, perhaps the Japanese), but all of them are somewhere around 8:1 or less. Either way, it’s clear that 25:1 is too much.
Oh, and you don’t have to worry about polyunsaturated intake from nuts/seeds. Those foods have their own antioxidant compounds to protect the oils.
What about grape seed oil? I hear that it is a good source of Vitamin E and has a higher burning temp than any other veggie oils. I have read nourishing traditions, and I believe in the importance of saturated fats, but I’m talking about using grapeseed oil for those things that won’t impart the flavor of like, olive oil and coconut oil. I believe the grapeseed oil is cold pressed like olive oil.
Wow great vid. +1 subscriber
Hey man, that coconut oil makes your skin beautiful. LOLOLOLOL!
