The biomechanics of a golf swing has become a very popular topic lately. Several books have been written about it. They break down the golf swing step by step into agonizing details. If you ever have trouble sleeping at night, just open up one of these books and you will be counting sheep in no time! :)

Since you are reading this article, I’ll assume that you are looking to correct some aspect of your golf swing. Are you hooking the ball, slicing the ball, or topping it? Trying to find that problem area within your swing biomechanics is not always a simple task. The good news is that I am here to help you figure that out.

The Problem With Most Biomechanic Golf Books

The majority of the golf swing books on the market have the same problem in common. They usually take a professional golf swing, such as Tiger Woods’ swing, and break it down step by step. So, what is wrong with that? Tiger is a great golfer, why shouldn’t we study his golf swing?

YES!!! Tiger Woods has an incredible golf swing. Unfortunately, I will NEVER be able to swing a golf club like Tiger Woods and neither will you. I know, it’s a hard fact to face but it is true. Tiger wrote a book titled “How I Play Golf”. Within the book he talks more about course management and how to get out of tough situations rather than the mechanics of his golf swing. Why is this? Because Tiger Woods knows that the average golfer would not benefit from reading about the biomechanics of Tiger’s swing. They have no chance of copying it.

The Biomechanics of a Golf Swing:

Alright then, so we agree that no matter how hard we practice we will never have a golf swing like Tiger. What do we do now? Do we have to struggle everytime we play golf slicing, hooking and topping the ball? No way!! There is some hope. Instead of making it really complex and difficult to understand, the biomechanics of a golf swing should be SIMPLE and easy to perform. You just need to have common positions within your golf swing that are CONSISTENT every time. This will help you achieve the straight shots and distance that you have been longing for.

What we need to to create a simple golf swing. A swing that we can perform automatically without much effort. We don’t want to over complicate things. The only areas we need to focus on are the setup, backswing, and impact. That’s it! Nothing else.

There are 5 steps to focus on within the Simple Golf Swing. Each step builds upon the previous one. It is a perfect system that will have you hitting the ball straighter and farther than you ever have before. I have personally used this system and gotten great results.
